The main data base for this web page were the papers, documents and public records which were left behind by 14-190/Erich B. (anno 1913), 14-179/Heinrich B. (anno 1950) and 15-261/Hermann B. (anno 1981-1990).
I corrected evident mistakes in those documents. Furthermore, I added what is known of the current 18th generation and completed the family trees with people who were discovered to be related to the family (e.g. emigrants to the US who had gone missing until 2006). To correct remaining mistakes within the family relations, to change and complete data or to even add more people requires the help of all living relatives. All family members are therefore asked to please complete the archive with data and documents and help to fill existing gaps. Especially important would be birth-, marriage-, baptism- or death-certificates as well as personal letters and photos (portaits). A list of all documents along with the privately collected archive material will be posted on this web page at a later stage. So far I have managed to gather a small stock of historic documents although the bigger part remains in Switzerland with a female member of the Bornbusch stirps. Unfortunately, the latter refuses to let me have a look at her deceased fathers collection in order to make copies and/or valuate its contents.
At the moment, there are approx. 600 data sets saved on the computer (which means people and their personal data plus continous growing and completing numbers of comments are listed). More or less 350 people are related with the Bornebusch lines. Approx. 80 % of the 160 still alive are Bornebusch (DE, DK, FR, GB, IT, SE, US, ZA / codes look ISO 3166), ca. 20% are Bornbusch (DE, CH, US).
